On July 16, 2025, Nebraska filed to sue Colorado in the U.S. Supreme Court regarding the South Platte River Compact. This webinar will explore the background of what led up to this lawsuit, what general legal issues Nebraska and Colorado would like the Supreme Court to address, and the role of a Special Master if the Supreme Court accepts the case. If the Court does accept the case, it is likely to take up to several years to resolve the many legal issues involved.
