Jim’s presentation will highlight answers to commonly asked rental questions and resources for extension professionals to better service clientele inquiries. The discussion of cash rent rates will include dryland and irrigated cropland along with grazing land rental rates for Nebraska, with insight into lease arrangements, pitfalls in land leasing contracts, and proper methods to overcome these challenges. The Center for Agricultural Profitability (CAP) has planned a series of professional development webinars for Extension Educators, Specialists, and colleagues to deliver information and discussion on relevant farm management issues, federal programs, and related topics. The series is being developed as an internal webinar for Extension professionals to address both the relevant farm management and program topics and the role and opportunity for Extension professionals to work with clientele and engage with state and federal agencies. Webinars will include opportunities for discussion among the participants.
The webinars are being planned for the last Tuesday of every month, from 10-11 a.m. Central time, and will be available at the standing Zoom link shown below. Recordings will be available on this page following each session. Please do not share this webinar.
