Economic conditions in agriculture have rebounded dramatically the past two years alongside a sharp recovery in broader economic conditions. Agricultural commodity prices have remained high, farmland values have set new records, and farm financial conditions are considerably stronger than before the pandemic. While factors specific to the pandemic may continue to affect economic conditions to varying degrees, the path forward for agriculture will depend significantly on these broader economic forces.
